Welcome to the EU Sommelier Association based in Belgium, built on the principles and spirit of the Schools attended by the teachers, namely WSET and the Italian Sommelier Association, which itself has offered wine education since 1965. Our Association has been affiliated with Italian Sommelier Association until end 2025 and our president represented them in Frankfurt, Belgium and Luxembourg. But, as of 2026 we decide to become international and turned in the most dedicated Wine Club in Brussels. Here you will find the finest Italian professionals, exclusive Masterclasses, Seminars, the latest updates, exclusive info, fan stories, and so much more. Our events are for every level...and if you want to grow and become professional, just subscribe for our Training! About Us
Our Sommelier Association landed in Bruxelles in 2021 as a group of what some have called ‘super fans’. We’re still (and even more!) a dedicated Wine Experts Club that connects the best professionals in Belgium for wine courses, events, training and also ....wine games! We pride ourselves on being a fun and collaborative environment, where people from all over can come together in fan unity.

Professional Sommelier Courses
Our training is inspired by the AIS and WSET background of our teachers. We integrated the approach and revised the program to better address the international audience. But, then, how does a training class look like? find it here below. Serious and professional training does not need to be boring! Below my class picture in Frankfurt First Level class 2019 following the Italian program. Now we have an international up-to-date program but the same enthusiasm and energy! A wonderful experience and a successful result. Obviously, there is no single way to get to know wine. We will break it down into two simple (and simplifying) elements:
1) the theory of wine;
2) the practice of wine.
The theory of wine is made up of the study, reading of texts and attendance of seminars and courses. The practice of wine is linked to direct experimentation: the wine itself and, therefore, its tasting, but among friends or in specific seminars that deepen a native vine or let us experience the evolution of aromas thanks to a vertical ( the tasting of different vintages of the same wine).
Sommelier or Wine Expert courses and seminars are useful as a window into the world of wine: this is where to start!
What can we do for you?
Wine lovers, professional sommeliers and Master of Wine from Belgium, this call is for you! Finally, we landed in Bruxelles and will take care of you. Whether you are an expert, a sommelier, a wine enthusiast or a local business, this cultural association is for you. In Italian, French, English you'll have access to a wide spectrum of events, professionals and, most important, people. As a Member, whether private or Business, we'll support you in organizing your event too! You may organize a session on a specific theme for the Association, or you contact us for Team building. We also organize training for diplomats and managers dealing with etiquette or simply provide consultancy.
Why a Sommelier Association in Bruxelles?
I started with the Oenology Section at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, 2018, when I decided that I wanted to teach and continue learning about wine, but in a professional and proper way, from the best teachers and sommeliers. I started a community in Frankfurt that raised up to 600 Members in only one year. Once I moved to Bruxelles, it was natural to do the same, so here we are! Italian sommelier Association asked me to 'do it again' and I couldn't decline!
My first step has been the professional sommelier Course in Luxembourg, this time in Italian, but we opened soon in Bruxelles as well. Nowadays, as a separated entity, we are open to both English and French audiences with an i international program. For the ones who'd like to participate in the future, do not hesitate to contact us and become members.

Summer break is coming....finally!
The Association continues to grow, and exciting new collaborations are already taking shape.
Before the summer break, we are planning a special study visit to Cortina for the prestigious VinoVip event, offering our members a unique opportunity to experience one of Italy's most renowned wine gatherings.
Following the summer, we will launch our Wine Expert Training Programme 2026 together with a series of exclusive events dedicated to some of the world's most fascinating wine regions and styles. The new season will begin on 8 September with Young Volcanoes of Europe, followed by Japanese Wines, The Big Bs (Burgundy, Brunello di Montalcino, Bordeaux & Barolo) and our much-anticipated Champagne Mon Amour evening.
Alongside these flagship events, members can look forward to exclusive masterclasses, special tastings and a few surprises throughout the year.
All events will be held in English unless otherwise specified.
